The college library is an important educational center of the college and working as central library for departmental libraries of college. The college library is automated by using ILMS SOUL 3.0 it has 02 computer, 01 printer a part from central library .There are Seven departmental libraries in college for post graduate student in different subject.

The library of Govt. Shyama Prasad Mukharjee College Sitapur, Sarguja was established in the year 1986 with small number of books. The main library has 32000 books. The library is lead by Mr. RAMKISUN TIGER (LIBRARIAN) .Circulation counter is made available for issue, return and renewal of books. The library of college has been well equipped with the latest information technologies and web based information, E-books and E-Journals search internet browsing as it is well connected through LAN/BSNL leased line. This library has connected on LAN with all semi automated to its users. The library is linked with N-LIST consortiums for online books and journals. A well-stocked (subject wise) library is an asset to the college.

WORKING HOURS OF LIBRARY

Working hours of the library is from 10.30 am to 04.30 pm on all working days of the college. Library remain closed on Sunday and govt. holiday.
