The Department of Chemistry is established to undertake teaching undergraduate level in 1996. M.Sc. in chemistry is stared in 2013 - 14 by local jan bhagidari samiti .

The chemistry department pledges itself to encourage in the broadest and most liberal manner the advancement of science and particularly chemistry in all of its branches through its education.
