DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH

The department of English was established in 1984-85 for a foundation course for UG classes.

MISSION

The department of English strives to accomplish the aim and mission of Govt. shyama prasad mukherjee college sitapur to provide quality higher education with employability skills. English should not be a barrier for achieving the goals of students. It is also a centre for co curricular and extra-curricular and extension activities ,apart from textual studies. The department aims at all round development of students by nurturing their hidden talents.

VISION

Enhancing the communicative skills, enriching the students with the spoken and written skills, encouraging the students to be employable, creating high quality of human resources for the nation's building and enabling research aptitude, nurturing the aptitude of creative writing. Creating a devoted responsible citizen.
